• What has changed and why?

  On June 25, 2022, Sovereign Media Company Inc. upgraded its website, WarfareHistoryNetwork.com, to a digital subscription-based site.

  As a trusted source for military history articles and information in the form of a searchable database (website) and beautiful print editions, our team of writers, researchers, artists and editors work very hard to bring you the most informative and in-depth coverage you need. This takes sustained financial investment and the work of committed professionals.

  Warfare History Network continues to evolve to bring you the stories that matter most to you. While we are known for our extensive coverage of the WWII, we also have an extensive knowledge base of military history including the Napoleonic Wars, Crusades, Civil War, World War I, Vietnam as well as the latest book and game reviews.

  Our subscribers recognize the value of having reliable, trustworthy researchers and writers who live and breathe military history.

  In short, quality matters to us. And online subscriptions help keep that going.

• What do I get if I subscribe?

  That depends.

  Once you go for one of the premium subscriptions, you get unlimited access to all of our online content, including thousands of military history articles. That includes every single article and issue we post, all completely searchable by year, battle, general (or whatever you choose to search for) as well as our special eBooks and book / game reviews. Your premium subscription also includes complete ready-to-read digital copies of every history magazine we’ve published over these 25+ years. Plus you’ll get our biweekly newsletter, which provides a constant feed of new military history articles.

  Unregistered users can access three free articles per month.

• Got it. So how do I get access?

  Join the network. Existing paid All Access Digital Members are entitled to receive free, unlimited access to our website and all digital content with registration. If you have received your registration login, click HERE to login with your username and password for complete online access.

  If you are a long-standing print subscriber and need login information to view the digital publication back issues, contact our office at 800‑219‑1187 or by emailing [email protected].

• Sometimes when I click a story link from the email, the website says I need to register. Why?

  Don’t panic. If you’ve already registered on our website, your login information is still there. As with any website that has a login feature, however, it’s going to automatically log you out from time to time. It even happens to us, and we work here!

  If you hit that wall when you try opening a story, just click the Login link in the upper right corner of the website, enter your login info, and you should be all set.

• I can’t remember my password.

  Happens to the best of us. Go to the Login link in the upper right corner of the website and click “Lost Password?” You’ll be asked to enter your email address to get a new password sent to you.

• I tried all of that and I’m still having trouble.
